Bridal Shower NUMBER FIVE!

Yes!  This was my FIFTH bridal shower to attend this year!  Whew.  That means in a couple of years I’ll be going to only baby showers and have nothing to blog about.

Okay, as per usual, Tamara did a fabulous job of Mary’s “real” bridal shower.  Kelly green, black, and white were the colors.  Check out some photos of the bridesmaids (sans one- Mary’s future sister-in-law), and the beautiful decor and set up.

My favorite thing at this bridal shower, however, was the game.  There was only one, but it was more entertaining than 3 of the typical ones played.  Tamara emailed Mary’s fiance with a list of questions about Mary.  He emailed the answers back, and Mary had to guess his answers!  It was awesome!  Things like “What’s Mary’s favorite dish that Matthew cooks?” and “What would Mary’s dream job be?” and “What’s Mary’s favorite TV show?”  Mary’s accuracy was impressive!  Good sign of a wonderful marriage, I’d say 😉

The bachelorette party will be Friday night, and I’ll let you guys know how it goes.  I promise to try to break it up with other wedding trends- I don’t want you guys to think this is a blog about Mary’s wedding, it just seems to be ending up that way recently!  But seriously, my participation in a wedding party makes all of the events VERY relevant to you brides!  Don’t you want more ideas?!

That does sound impressive, but make sure she didn’t cheat 😉 I did that game for my best friend’s shower and found out months later they had cheated so it would look better! I will never let her forget it either! Haha 🙂

I guess now that the wedding (and planning — whew) is complete, I’m finally able to read all of the awesome blog entries!

Let me say that the game completely freaked me out — what if i said the wrong thing…or worse, the complete opposite of his answer?!? Always the perfectionist…favorite show? Depends on the season… Favorite dish? Also depends on the season… Matthew did an excellent job of hiding that email. My anxiety, however, wishes he didn’t! S’all good now, of course. 🙂
