It’s hard to believe that eight years ago, I was blogging about the vintage wedding trend, focusing on Roaring Twenties style. Short, mysterious birdcage veils were all the rage.
Now I’m obsessing over an even more vintage style (think 1500’s!) with the rise in sales of Juliet cap veils. Named after the most famous Shakespearian leading lady, the style is more of a cap over the crown, with beads and/or intricate crochet-work or lace. While it’s similar to a mantilla, it has mostly mesh for the body of the veil.
Kate Moss wore the Juliet cap veil for her 2011 nuptials:

I couldn’t be more fond of the romantic trend and hope it sticks around for a while.
What veil style did you wear for your wedding? Or, what veil style is your favorite now?
