It was a bittersweet trip to Las Vegas this year. We arrived the morning after the horrific attack, and the somber mood and grief was certainly palpable in the ordinarily playful city. Our hearts mourn for the lives lost in the senseless tragedy, and find hope in the hundreds of stories of heroism surfacing in the days after. The Heather’s Glen team felt lucky that we could pay our respects at the iconic Las Vegas sign, saying a prayer for victims, their loved ones, and for the future ahead.

In terms of trends, balloon art is still strong, and color is coming back after the blush and champagne takeover of the past 5 years. (Check out Heather Benge‘s colorful floral print inspo here). While live photo booths aren’t going anywhere, the props are evolving from mustache-on-a-popsicle-sticks to bubble machines.
